MIKE ZITO
Născut pe 19 noiembrie 1970, în St. Louis, Missouri.

A început să cânte la chitară la vârsta de cinci ani, iar până la sfârșitul adolescenței, era deja un punct de reper pe scena muzicală locală din St. Louis.
În 2011, cu albumul „Greyhound”, a fost nominalizat la categoria Best Rock Blues Album la Blue Music Awards din Memphis. Doi ani mai târziu, a semnat cu Ruf Records și a lansat „Gone to Texas”, povestea despre cum a dobândit sobrietatea, a oferit un omagiu emoționant statului care a lăsat o amprentă de neșters asupra întregii sale vieți.
Cel mai recent album al său, „Life Is Hard”, produs de Joe Bonamassa și Josh Smith, a câștigat Blues Music Award pentru Blues Rock Album of the Year.

He began playing guitar at the age of five, and by the time he reached his late teens, he was already a fixture on the local St. Louis music scene.
In 2011’s ”Greyhound”, which was nominated for Best Rock Blues Album at that year’s Blue Music Awards ceremony in Memphis. Two years later, he signed with Ruf Records and released ”Gone to Texas”, the story of how he gained his sobriety, offered an emotional homage to the state that left an indelible imprint on his entire life.
His latest release, ”Life Is Hard”, produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith, has won the 2025 Blues Music Award for Blues Rock Album of the Year.
