Eroii  săi sunt Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Albert King, Freddie King, B.B. King, Howlin’ Wolf și Muddy Waters. A început să cânte la tobe la școală, la biserică și în trupa tatălui său, The Tony Rogers Band. Acolo a interpretat o multitudine de genuri, inclusiv funk, soul, rock, reggae și R&B. Părinții l-au încurajat să învețe o varietate de instrumente, tatăl său fiind mentor la chitară.Îîn februarie 2021 a lansat primul său EP autoprodus – Born Again Blues”. O prezență constantă la Buddy Guy’s Legends sau Rosa’s Lounge în Chicago. Și dacă Buddy Guy sau John Primer au spus despre el că este unul dintre tinerii ”responsabili să ducă blues-ul mai departe, în viitor”, am zis să îl prezentăm și la Dărmănești. Doamnelor, domnișoarelor și domnucelor … Jamiah ‘Deacon Denzel’ Rogers and The Dirty Church Band ajunge la Blues in the garden festival pentru un concert în seara zilei de 23 august 2025.

His heroes are Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Albert King, Freddie King, B.B. King, Howlin’ Wolf, and Muddy Waters. He started playing drums at school, in church, and in his father’s band, The Tony Rogers Band. There, he performed a variety of genres, including funk, soul, rock, reggae, and R&B. His parents encouraged him to learn multiple instruments, with his father mentoring him on guitar. In February 2021, he released his first self-produced EP, Born Again Blues. A regular presence at Buddy Guy’s Legends and Rosa’s Lounge in Chicago, he has been recognized by legends like Buddy Guy and John Primer as one of the young musicians “responsible for carrying the blues into the future.”So, we thought we’d bring him to Dărmănești as well! Ladies and gentlemen… Jamiah ‘Deacon Denzel’ Rogers and The Dirty Church Band are coming to Blues in the Garden Festival for a concert on the evening of August 23, 2025!
